Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

The Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification validates a professional’s ability to  deploy, configure, secure, manage, and monitor devices and client applications in an enterprise environment.

To earn the the certification, participants must take and pass two exams; the MD 100: Windows Client exam and the MD 101:  Managing Modern Desktops exam.

MD 100: Windows Client Exam

Skills Measured:

  • Deploy Windows (15-20%)
  • Manage devices and data (25-30%)
  • Configure storage and connectivity (15-20%)
  • Maintain Windows (30-35%)

Passing Score: 700

Audience Profile:

  • Experience  with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows Client and non-Windows devices and technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 workloads

Exam Training

Students can prepare for the exam by taking the Windows Client Training course

MD 101: Managing Modern Desktops Exam

Skills Measured:

  • Deploy and upgrade operating systems (25-30%)
  • Manage policies and profiles (20-25%)
  • Manage and protect devices (30-35%)
  • Manage apps and data (10-15%)

Passing Score: 700

Audience Profile:

  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and non-Windows devices and technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 workloads

Exam Training

Students can prepare for the exam by taking the Managing Modern Desktops Training course.
