Course Overview

This course will be going end of life on 2/23/2020 please see DCIUCS and DCCUCS as the replacement courses. Our 5 day, instructor-led DCUS (Configuring Data Center Unified Computing v.3.0 training and certification boot camp in Washington, DC Metro, Tysons Corner, VA, Columbia, MD or Live Online is designed to familiarize data center engineers, architects and Cisco partners with the Cisco UCS B-series and C-series products. This course prepares individuals for implementing and maintaining Cisco UCS hardware with a strong emphasis on best practices. The Configuring Data Center Unified Computing course also addresses relevant additional features added by Version 2.1 Cisco UCS Software Release. Overall this course is primarily aimed at customer network engineers and administrators. Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
  • Describe the Cisco UCS architecture
  • Describe Cisco UCS LAN connectivity configuration
  • Describe Cisco UCS B-Series SAN connectivity configuration
  • Describe how to configure and manage the servers within Cisco UCS
  • Describe how to configure Cisco UCS virtualization
  • Describe how to configure Cisco UCS administration
  • Describe Cisco UCS C-Series features

Course Registration

Candidates can choose to register for the course by via any of the below methods: Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class. Online enrolment closes three days before course start date. On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.
