Course Overview

This 5 day, instructor led Microsoft 365 Administrator course provides IT professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage and support a Microsoft 365 environment. Participants will learn how to configure, secure, and maintain a Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and services. The course also covers identity management and synchronization, Microsoft 365 security features, compliance solutions, and service monitoring. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, learners will gain the expertise needed to administer Microsoft 365 and ensure a reliable, secure, and compliant organizational environment. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Set up and manage a Microsoft 365 tenant, including organizational profiles, subscriptions, and user accounts.
• Configure and assign licenses, roles, and permissions to support organizational needs.
• Implement and manage identity synchronization between on-premises and cloud directories.
• Use Microsoft 365 security tools to protect user identities, data, and devices from modern threats.
• Configure and manage compliance features such as data retention, archiving, and data loss prevention.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment.

• A solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services and general IT concepts.
• Basic knowledge of networking, DNS, and cloud computing principles.
• Some hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, or Teams.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for administrative tasks is helpful but not required.
