Course Overview
Our Microsoft Excel 2021/365 Level 1 courseware provides the basic concepts and skills students need to start being productive with Microsoft Excel: how to create, save, share, and print worksheets that contain various kinds of calculations and formatting. Students will benefit most from this course if they want to accomplish basic workplace tasks in Excel, or if they want to have a solid foundation for continuing on to become an Excel expert.
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Open and interact with Excel, and save and close workbooks
- Enter various kinds of data, enter formulas and functions, move and copy data, and identify reference types and how to use them
- Format text and numbers, align text, and apply borders and styles to cells and ranges
- Implement various data-entry shortcuts; use paste options; insert, delete, and hide data in their worksheets
- Create charts, change their type, and insert and control the elements they contain
- Split and manage worksheet windows, set print options, print and preview workbooks, create headers and footers, and share workbooks with other users
- Understand workbook properties and how to use templates
