Course Overview
This 5-day, instructor led course is designed for IT Professionals working with NetScaler ADC, with little to no previous NetScaler experience. Potential students include administrators, engineers, and architects interested in identifying, implementing and managing a NetScaler ADC using leading practices as well as implementing and configuring a NetScaler Gateway environment to address remote access requirements for VPN deployments as well as the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the functionalities and capabilities of NetScaler ADC
- How to obtain, install, and manage NetScaler ADC licenses
- Comprehend basic NetScaler ADC network architecture.
- Understand how SSL is used to secure NetScaler ADC.
- Optimize the ADC system for traffic handling and management.

Exam Information
The certification associated with this class is the Citrix Certified Associate – App Delivery and Security (CCA-AppDS).
Audience
This course requires little to no previous experience with NetScaler ADC; however, Citrix recommends a basic understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and of the OSI model, network devices, and networking protocols.
