Course Overview
This five-day, instructor led course provides a practical introduction to building modern Java applications using Spring 5 and Spring Boot. Participants will explore the core principles of Spring, including dependency injection and modular application design, while learning how to simplify configuration and manage dependencies with Spring Boot. The course also covers building RESTful services and integrating with databases using Spring Data and JPA. Hands-on exercises reinforce key concepts and provide experience creating flexible, maintainable, and secure applications.
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Apply the core principles of Spring, including dependency injection and inversion of control.
- Configure and manage application components using XML, annotations, and Java-based configuration.
- Use Spring Boot to streamline project setup, dependency management, and application configuration.
- Develop RESTful web services with Spring REST and handle JSON/XML data.
