Course Overview
This course provides a foundational understanding of Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. Participants will learn the basic concepts, components, and benefits of VoIP, as well as how voice is transmitted over IP networks. The course is designed to give participants the knowledge needed to work with VoIP systems in a professional environment.
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of VoIP and how it differs from traditional telephony.
- Identify basic components and protocols used in VoIP systems.
- Explain how voice traffic is transmitted over IP networks.
- Recognize common challenges in VoIP deployments, such as latency and call quality.
- Apply basic practices for configuring and troubleshooting VoIP systems.
