Course Overview
This one day, instructor led writing course is for individuals who are looking to gain strong and consistent writing skills for their projects and assignments. This course reviews basic writing skills but then also discusses more advanced writing techniques and topics. Through individual and group activities, participants will learn how to build upon their skills to improve organization in their writing as well as utilize the most effective sources and adapt their writing for the web. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Make their writing clear, complete, concise, and correct
- Improve sentence construction and paragraph development
- Deal with specific business requests
- Create effective business cases, proposals, and reports
- Thoroughly document sources that are used in the writing process
