Course Overview
This course balances instruction, hands on lab exercises and knowledge checks to introduce the learner to the fundamental concepts of Kong Gateway, including managing Kong Gateway Operations for Kubernetes. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the context and scenarios where Kong Gateway is used.
- Manage Kong Gateway deployment, including installing and configuring it.
- Secure the control plane in a Kong Gateway deployment.
- Secure the dataplane within Kong Gateway effectively.
- Troubleshoot common issues encountered in Kong Gateway.
- Explore and implement advanced plugins to extend Kong Gateway functionality.
- Use Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to configure Kong Gateway.
- Configure Kong Gateway using CRDs instead of relying on the Manager interface.
