Course Overview
This one-day, instructor-led intermediate course builds on the foundational skills learned in Outlook Level 1. Participants will learn to organize and manage email more efficiently, customize message settings, and take advantage of advanced Outlook features such as rules, mail merges, and collaboration tools. The course also covers effective use of folders, categories, searching, filtering, notes, and the Journal to streamline workflow and improve productivity. By the end of the course, students will be able to use Outlook more efficiently and leverage its advanced tools for professional communication and organization. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Organize Outlook using folders, categories, quick steps, and advanced search and filter tools.
- Manage mail effectively using rules, junk mail controls, and mailbox cleanup techniques.
- Customize message options and appearance to enhance communication.
- Use Notes and the Journal for tracking information and activities.
- Perform mail merges, share items, and integrate Outlook with other Microsoft applications for collaboration.
