Course Overview

Phoenix TS’ 2-day Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) course will help you understand all the benefits of agile, and make it work for you and your organization. DASM equips you to successfully lead agile teams, thereby future-proofing your career in a world in which agile is fast becoming the way forward. This course is also recommended to help those preparing to take the DASM certification exam.

Course Objectives

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Grasp the fundamentals of agile and lean, and how you can practically use both approaches to produce value for your teams.
  • Explore multiple agile and lean techniques from methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®, and more.
  • Understand how to put these techniques into practice and ensure successful agile implementation.
  • Appreciate the DA™ mindset and its underlying principles, such as pragmatism, the power of choice, and adapting to context.
  • Learn how to apply the Disciplined Agile tool kit to discover the most effective way of working (WoW) for you, and your team in your unique situation.

Course Registration

Candidates can choose to register for the course by via any of the below methods:

Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class.

Online enrolment closes three days before course start date.

On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.

Disciplined Agile Scrum Master Certification (DASM) Exam

Exam Details:

  • Exam Format: Online; Non – proctored
  • Question Type:  50 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Exam Length: 120 Minutes for total exam appointment
  • Exam Administrator: Pearson VUE

Additional Information:

  • Participants have 2 attempts within a 60 day period to complete the exam.
  • The DASM exam is valid for 1 year.
  • Renewal requires 7 PDU’s in Agile topics and a $50 renewal fee. Active PMI members can renew for $20.

Who should take this course? This is an intermediate course designed for those with beginner level experience in Agile. What is the recommended experience for this course? There are no defined prerequisites for this course but participants should have basic understanding of Agile concepts.
