Analyzing Data with Power BI (MS 20778) Training

Due to Covid-19 safety restrictions PhoenixTS will temporarily be unable to provide food to our students who attend class at our Training Center; however, our Break Areas are currently open where students will find a constant supply of Coffee, Tea and Water. Students may bring their own lunch and snacks to eat in our breakrooms or at their seat in the classroom or eat out at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Course Overview

This 3-day, instructor-led course teaches participants to use Power BI for data analysis. The course includes creating visualizations, the Power BI Service, and the Power BI Mobile App. This is a refresh to the preceding versions to take account of changes in the Power BI service. After completing this course, students will be able to do the following:

  • Describe self-service BI.
  • Describe the Power BI suite of products.
  • Connect to data sources and optimize data models.
  • Shape and combine data from different sources.
  • Model data.
  • Create reports and manage solutions.
  • Describe the Power BI developer API.
  • Describe the Power BI mobile app.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
