Course Overview

OSCP Certification

The industry-leading Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PWK/PEN-200) course introduces penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques in a hands-on, self-paced environment. Access PEN-200’s first Learning Module for an overview of course structure, learning approach, and what the course covers. Learners who complete the course and pass the exam will earn the OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP) certification which requires holders to successfully attack and penetrate various live machines in a safe lab environment. The OSCP is considered to be more technical than other ethical hacking certifications and is one of the few that requires evidence of practical penetration testing skills. This course is intended for Infosec professionals transitioning into penetration testing, Pentesters, Security professionals, Network administrators and other technology professionals. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop skills in penetration testing through mastering information-gathering methods to identify and categorize targets operating on diverse systems and services.
  • Create fundamental scripts and tools to support the penetration testing procedure effectively.
  • Analyze, rectify, adjust, compile for different architectures, and adapt publicly available exploit code.
  • Execute remote, local privilege escalation, and client-side attack strategies proficiently.
  • Recognize and exploit vulnerabilities such as XSS, SQL injection, and file inclusion in web applications.
  • Employ tunneling techniques adeptly to navigate between networks.
  • Cultivate creative problem-solving abilities and lateral thinking skills essential for effective penetration testing.
