Course Overview
This one day, instructor led advanced-level course equips participants with the skills to manage and enhance complex Access databases. Students will learn to import and export data, create advanced queries, develop sophisticated forms and reports, and automate tasks using macros and VBA. The course also covers database management, performance optimization, security implementation, and strategies for multi-user deployment. By the end of the course, participants will be able to extend database capabilities and maintain secure, efficient, and professional Access solutions. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Import, link, and export data, including creating mail merges.
- Build advanced queries, including action, unmatched, and duplicate queries.
- Design complex forms and reports, including subforms, subreports, and navigation forms.
- Automate tasks using Access macros and VBA to enhance user interaction and database functionality.
- Manage database performance, backup, and documentation.
- Implement security measures, distribute databases for multiple users, and prepare databases for deployment.
