Red Hat System Administration III (RH254)

The Red Hat System Administration III (RH254) training expands on the skills covered in RH124 and RH134. Students with RHCSA certifications can take the next step in their professional development towards earning a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.

Course Overview

This course is geared towards Linux administrators with established experience who are interested in building upon their fundamental skills. Students who already achieved their RHCSA certification will gain further preparation for the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification exam (EX300). If individuals do not have their RHCSA certification, they may want to invest in the RHCSA Rapid Track course (RH199) to refresh and validate their skills necessary for earning the RHCE.

Course Registration

Candidates can choose to register for the course by via any of the below methods:

Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class.

Online enrolment closes three days before course start date.

On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.

Once done the training, students can take the RHCE certification exam. This is a performance based exam that tests an individual’s skills and knowledge that aligns with a Senior System Administrator for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.

Individuals must have their Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) to achieve the RHCE.
