Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) Certification Training

Course Overview

The 5-day ICND1 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 training course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to understand TCP/IP networks that are built with Cisco hardware. Students will also learn how to implement small switched and routed networks that consist of 1 to 20 hosts connected to a single switch. In addition, students will be led through all the exam objectives so that they are properly prepared to handle the CCENT certification exam at the end of the 5-day course.

By the end of the ICND1 training course, students will have an understanding of the following objectives:

  • Simple networks
  • Ethernet LANs
  • Wireless LANs
  • Connecting to LANs
  • Wide Area Networks (WANs)
  • Network environment management

This course is also the first step toward achieving the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
